There are several different type of Currency to collect such as Continental, Fractional / Postage, Small and Large size, then it breaks down into US Notes, National Notes, Silver Certificates, Gold Certificate ETC.. There are a million and one ways to collect, what are you most interested in? And WELCOME to the forum!

Have you checked out your LCS? eBay has some great deals, you can basically search for anything you want.. There are other places to purchase from as well. Your definitely looking to start collecting good stuff!

Hello cardinalsfan90, and welcome to collecting paper currency. My advise is to be patient, and learn as much as possible before actually purchasing any collectible paper currency. In today's world, all kinds of information is available through the internet. Price guides are also valuable assets when researching collectible paper currency but not necessarily for the prices but for the added information and photos. Ask questions and have fun.
