I'll start off this thread with this common Louisiana "Baby Bond".. This one pictured is very common but they do have much rarer versions of this bond script.. Although common and very inexpensive, this note is for some reason one of my favorites.. You can purchase this note here for around $20 give or take.. Very affordable for anybody! Not to mention it is a piece of American history from the 1870's!!! Attachments:

One of my favorites is this Obsolete sheet (1-1-2-3) from the Tallahassee Railroad Company.

Tech- Loving the missi. Notes... Especially the 1838 issue! Can you tell me anything about it? I love the simplicity of it.

Very awesome. Wish I could buy it ha ... I will post some of my obsolete collection when I get home later this afternoon. Obsolete notes are very cool pieces. I only buy state notes though such as state of Georgia or state or Louisiana I haven't bought any broken bank notes yet. Speaking of the Memphis show how is it? Best in the country? When is it, I'd like to go for my first time if I can this year.. Do you know of any comparable shows, I believe there is one in long beach CA... This is a good idea for a thread. I'll have to dig a little more into this later and add to a thread for coin/paper money shows

I'll have to dig a little more into this later and add to a thread for coin/paper money shows The Memphis show was always my "had to go" show; others were "if I could afford them". However, this may be the last IPMS in Memphis for a while. Rumors abound that Lyn Knight will be moving the show around after this year (the 40th). Don't know where yet. "Things" around the Cook Convention Center just aren't like they used to be in the early days; the trolley to downtown Memphis no longer runs, still have buses though. I will say the Educational forums are ALWAYS worth the time, ALWAYS. I do encourage you to attend if you can and let me know if you will attend and we'll get together for coffee. I don't collect obsoletes any more, sold my collection (500+ notes) twenty years ago and started concentrating on U.S. Small Size since my grandchildren really had no interest in the obsoletes. But, as you can see, I still collect the "small change" notes. I still have a few special obsoletes though.

The show is June 2 correct? I wish it was pushed back about another month.. That's just too short of notice for me. I will go next year for sure though.
